The design brief was to create a wedding gift for someone who had a very special relation with horses. The first step involved looking at different representations of these animals. Then, Picasso´s continuous line drawings stood out for their beauty and abstract qualities. One of this drawings was modeled in 3D as one continous floating line with the necessary dimensions to be able to stand as an object. Afterwards, different possible interactions between a user and this object were tested. In the preferred one the tail and the hair would be made out of a different materials and the user would be able to carry them, as earrings. When they are on their “support”, the whole is perceived as a suggestive figure, so that the object has a double nature, having qualities as both a je wel and a sculpture.
